The NSGVP On-Line is a free resource of key statistical information on the charitable giving and volunteering behaviour of Canadians. On this website you can find fact sheets, reports and management resources created with analysis of data. This site is continuously updated and the topics covered include:
- National, provincial, and metropolitan-area analysis of giving and volunteering behaviour;
- Analysis of the giving and volunteering behaviour of demographic groups such as youth and seniors;
- Sector-specific reports that examine topics, such as the ways of encouraging involvement and support of social service and health organizations;
- Management resources that provide information on how to use survey data to design fundraising as well as volunteer recruitment and management programs.
In addition, this site offers quick links to publications, a glossary of terms, frequently asked questions, discussion forums and links to other on-line resources covering this topic.

The Voluntary Gateway is a portal that makes it easier to locate information and resources, as well as facilitate collaboration to strengthen communities and social enterprise. The portal is a high profile hub that enables connections — to people, programs, organizations and new ideas. It is a platform from which users may share assets, dialogue and research — a tool for improved communication.

Volunteer Canada
Volunteer Canada is the national voice for volunteerism in Canada. Since 1977, Volunteer Canada has been committed to supporting volunteerism and civic participation through ongoing programs and special projects. This site offers information about volunteer screening in addition to internal discussion boards.
